Tuition and Finance

At Southwest Kingston University (SKU), we understand that managing education costs along with other living expenses is a major concern for many aspiring students. We do our best to offer courses at very affordable rates compared to other universities.

We also offer scholarships for disadvantaged students, who need assistance to fund their degree programs. For more details on how you may qualify for one of the many financial assistance programs please contact an Admissions Counselor.

All tuition rates are listed in U.S. Dollars

Tuition is charged at $200 per credit hour for the RN to BSN Program and $250 per credit hour for the MHM Program. The total tuition cost for the RN to BSN Program is $6,000* and the total tuition cost for the MHM Program is $9,000*.

*Program costs do not include textbooks or miscellaneous fees.

  • Estimated cost of textbooks for the RN to BSN Program is: $1,000.00.
  • Estimated cost of textbooks for the MHM Program is $1,111.00.

The estimated cost of textbooks is based on the purchase of required textbooks only. Several courses also have recommended texts, which would alter the overall estimated cost for books.

Miscellaneous fees are listed as:

Application Fee: $50.00 (one-time fee)
Graduation Fee: $50.00 (one-time fee)
Technology Fee: $100.00 (per term)
Late Registration Fee: $50.00
Returned Check Fee: $30.00
Transcript: $5.00
Reactivation Processing Fee for Enrolled Students: $25.00

The total estimated cost for the RN to BSN program (including textbooks) is $7,000. The estimated cost for the MHM program (including textbooks) is $10,111

Payment for tuition and other costs can be made by personal check, money order, wire transfer, or credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, or Discover). International students must pay with U.S. currency.
